How to split a document into two parts or open the same document twice when using Acrobat PDF reader?
Q. It happens many time that i repeatedly have to switch in two different parts of the same PDF document. In Acrobat Reader there is no option to split a document into 2 or open one document twice (As can be done in MS word). So this practice becomes quite cumbersome. Any solutions for this problem?
Asked by Nimesh - Mon Aug 24 17:08:00 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. You can try to make a copy of your PDF, then rename it, then you might open the same PDF in Adobe Reader twice. If you wanna split a PDF, Adobe Reader can not make it, you need a PDF Splitter. Try this one, it can help you split a PDF into different parts. Hope it helps.

A. The easiest way I know is to use the little icon in the document manager. I'm not sure if it works for 2007, but there are tons of ways to upload a .doc to FFN. Here's probably the easiest way. I'd start from number 4 first, but if it doesn't work for 2007 docs, 1-3 is the way to convert them.: 1) Open up your document 2) Click Save As 3) On the drop-box that says 'Format', change it to Word 2000-2003 Document and Save. 4) On FFN, login and go to Document Manager under 'Publish'. 5) Click the Browse button and upload your file. 6) Add new story, again under 'Publish' xxx Here's one way, but it only works if you've got something posted up there already: 1) Open your Word Document. 2) After logging in to FFN, under the 'Publish'… [cont.]

What document do you file with the IRS for business taxes?
Q. I have a P / L statement from Quickbooks, however I need proof of income for my company. I have not filed last years taxes just yet. I think I would file a Schedule C, but I know theres a document inside the package almost like a Profit and Loss statement.
Asked by uscdog89002 - Thu Feb 7 22:45:44 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. For a sole proprietorship and some LLCs, you use Schedule C and Schedule SE. You do not need "proof" of income for a business. If you are audited that is when "proof" comes in. They primarily look at your bank account deposits. Just make sure you have documentation for any money that was NOT sales (like money you put in, loans, advances, etc). At a certain point, successful business people realize that they may be great at what they do, but lousy at bookkeeping and taxes, then they get an accountant. Good luck

How can I insert an entire adobe document into a microsoft word document, preserving the entire adobe document?
Q. I need to insert and Adobe pdf file into a microsoft word document. I tried copy and paste, but it only puts in the words. I tried a snapshot, but that only does one page at a time.
Asked by mallee102 - Thu Oct 30 16:24:05 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. You can only put it in as a picture. You cannot put in the actual text unless you copied and paste, as you said you tried. So here it is, I do it all the time at work: Go to your Adoba File and hit Save As Save it as a "JPEG" document file, not an Adobe file. (where it says "Save as Type" under "File Name") Then go into your Word Document, into a new page. Click "Insert", "Picture", "From File" Find where you saved the pictures as (they will have saved as separate images per page. Meaning, page 1 will be one image, page 2 a separate image) Hit the control key to select multiple pages at a time (unless you want to do each page for each page). Then hit "Insert" They will show up in the alphabetical order they show up in your file selection,… [cont.]

A. When files are "deleted," they are NOT truly gone; there is a magnetic or electrostatic latency resonance on the binary switches of the storage media, be it hard-drive, flash media, zip drive, data tape, etc. That means that though your operating system interface may not be able to detect the file, the data still exists on the hardware at a physical level. One piece of software I've had relatively good success with at recovering deleted data is IOLO's Search and Recover. It is available online and at local retailers, such as Staples and Bestbuy, and ranges between $20 and $50, depending upon sales and specials. If your file hasn't been entirely corrupted, which is extremely unlikely after a week, S&R is probably your best bet for… [cont.]

How to use Endnote to create a bibliography in a seperate document?
Q. I am working on a research thesis, which is broken into a number of chapters, and I need all my references in each separate chapter document to go into ONE document to create the bibliography. Does anyone know how to tell Endnote to put the bibliography from a number of different documents into one separate document? Thanks in advance.
Asked by JaeCee - Thu Feb 14 20:20:27 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Create a master document for your thesis, and add each chapter as a subdocument. If you show the subdocuments, then format the bibliography, everything should be combined into a single bibliography at the end of the master document.

A. if you are simply trying to OPEN a pdf file from your email, don't waste time converting it. Just download it to your hard drive ("filename.pdf") and open it with adobe acrobat reader. but assuming you ARE trying to convert it: first it would be helpful to understand the nature of pdf files. a pdf file is simply a file that says what text and images go in what positions on what page. when you tried to open it, you did successfully open it, but not in the way you wanted. you opened the raw data of the file, rather than the software's interpretation of it which is what you do want. there are 2 ways to convert it, and each has its own time to be used. 1) direct conversion special software programs interpret the pdf tagging and lay… [cont.]

What is the HUD document that you get when closing a home loan?
Q. I am refinancing my condo (to get a better interest rate). The title company called me and said they need a copy of my HUD document from the original loan. I went through all the old paper work, and cannot find anything like that. Should I have this considering the first loan is a traditional 30 year loan?
Asked by ounlopez - Mon Jun 8 11:53:24 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Title company is looking for your HUD-1 statement from your loan. If you kept your documents it is a legal size document with lots of lines and numbers about closing fees, origination points, escrow fees, loan amount and other numbers covering your closing and the amount it cost you. This document is required by federal law for all refinance and purchase of real property. I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck. "FIGHT ON"

A. The only limit is the file sizes and the amount of disk space you have available on your data server. Other than that, I've never seen any sites with more than 2,147,483,647 sites/pages, which is my theoretical limit.
