A document (noun) is a bounded physical representation of a body of information designed with the capacity (and usually intent) to communicate. A document may manifest symbolic, diagrammatic or sensory-representational information. To document (verb) is to produce a document artifact by collecting and representing information. Colloquial usage is revealed by the connotations and denotations that appear in a Web search for document. From these usages, one can infer the following typical connotations:
The variety usage reveals that the notion of document has rich social and cultural aspects besides the physical, functional and operational aspects. From Wikipedia under the
GNU Free Documentation License Does anyone know the florida laws on Nurses documenting on patient care? Q. Hi, I am trying to find out the laws for nursing homes as to exactly what and how often they have to document on a patient in their care. Someone has told me that it is only once every month and I cannot believe that is true. If someone knows of anything pertaining to this I would really appreciate some feedback. Thank you. Asked by Jolene R - Wed Sep 12 22:19:36 2007 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. I can't state the laws in Florida, but I imagine they would be pretty universal throughout the states. I am in Pa and I do believe the requirement here is once a month, this may have changed since I've been out of Nursing for several years. I have worked at several facilities,we always had to do a monthly summary on all the residents and at least a basic charting note weekly. The regulations about documentation aren't as strict for a nursing home. Answered by Jan - Thu Sep 13 00:12:43 2007 I would like to start ghost hunting and documenting the activity. Q. There may be lacunae in your projects. - missing chains of custody. Shouldn't you start drafting a letter - to whom it may concern, bcc to Chief of Navy Security, asking if it is too late ? To mike, Thanks. Terrific. Asked by supergrass207 - Thu Apr 24 15:06:15 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. No. I don't know about the Chief of Naval Security, but any person who gets their hands on a program for maintenance should start adding comments to the program listing and as needed in separate files documented in the listing to define the program. It is the basic first step of working on the program. If you only work on one small part, then you document that one small part.
